How To: Restore Company Data From Backups in Sage 50 Accounts

The Restore option in Sage 50 Accounts will permanently overwrite your existing company data files with those stored in a backup file. A restore operation cannot be undone – use with caution.

Restoring data can be useful for a variety of reasons: to recover from an un-correctable error in the data or to view the accounts as it was prior to a Year End. Bear in mind that in order to come back to “today's accounts” you need to perform another restore operation from an up-to-date backup file.
